Rodgers Admits His Position In Liverpool Is Threatened

SoccerTodayNews.Blogspot.Com - The future of Brendan Rodgers as Liverpool manager was busy speculated. Rodgers also admitted that his position is never secure.

Rodgers is under great pressure as disappointing performance of the Reds earlier this season. After starting with a victory in the first two matches of the Premier League, Liverpool's two defeats, three draws and one win in the next six parties in all domestic competitions.

Although in his last fight to win, but the positive result was obtained with difficulty - on penalties after a 1-1 draw - against fourth division Carlisle United in the English League Cup last night.

Most supporters of Liverpool already started hot and wanted so Rodgers immediately removed. Rodgers failing to promote the club regardless of the success of delivering Jordan Henderson et al. finished runner-up two seasons ago.

"I have never felt that (my work) has been safe," said Rodgers was quoted by the Guardian.

"You need to be at your best performance every day when you arrive at a club as big as this. It does not affect me. I have confidence in what I do."

"We almost achieved many great things. We've got a group of players and we intend to promote them. I'm not ashamed to admit that we need to get a lot of good results and perform well," said Rodgers.
